My dream topic is lost. When you are lost in a dream it is due to the lack of direction and goals in your life or the insecurity of the path you are taking. If you call for help in your dream then it means that you need support. Being lost could mean that you are trying to get used to a new lifestyle. If someone else is lost in your dream then they have unresolved issues and you need to acknowledge them.

My dream topic is explore. When someone has a dream about exploring new lands, their body is telling them that they should look within themselves and discover what drives them. A dream about exploring may also indicate that you should discover aspects of your character.

My topic is recurring themes/dreams/items. I have found that it is common to have a dream, over and over. It may show up in slight variations but it is commonly about the same. These dreams are brought up to show or teach you something. It tends to show up, more then once to show that the dream is significant.

To be running away from someone in a dream signifies that you are running away from a problem or issue you are trying to avoid and that you are not taking responsibility for your actions.

My dream topic was choking. When someone dreams they are choking this usually implies that some advice or situation in their life is hard to swallow or accept. They may also feel that they are unable to express themselves in a situation.

My dream topic was hair and teeth falling out. Freud believed that if you dreamed of these events it either means that your subconscious is punishing you for masturbation (castration complex), or you are feeling anxiety about your sexuality or your sexual attractions/interactions with someone else. Alternatively, these dreams could mean that you fear of being deprived of some sort of power in your life. Also, hair and teeth are used to convey attractiveness in our society, so a more common dream explanation is that you fear of being seen as unattractive or being rejected.

My dream topic is about falling. Freud believed that when you fall in your dreams it indicates that you are contemplating giving into a sexual urge or impulse and you are lacking indiscretion. Falling also indicates that you are insecure, unstable or anxious about something and you have no control over it in real life. Falling dreams also indicate a sense of failure or inferior feeling about something. If you do not wake up before you fall in a dream you will not die, contrary to popular beleif.

My dream topic was blindness. If you can't see in your dream, it means that you refuse to see the truth about a situation. Also it could mean that you're not aware of a problem. You might be rejecting something about yourself or about a certain problem.

My topic was interpreting real background noise and sensations into dreams. When we hear a sound or feel a touch while asleep, that sound or feeling is often woven into our dreams in order for our minds to make sense of it. For example an alarm clock going off in reality could be translated into someone dropping plates or bells ringing in a dream. Freud noted experiments where someone was touched with a feather or heard music while in a dream and later reported the dream taking a course that incorporated the sensation. At the time the scientific consensus was that these “sensory excitations” were the primary reason for different dreams. While Freud acknowledged this, he felt that it could not explain all dreams.

For people our age dreaming in black and white is a very rare occurrence. Members of the older generation, however, have reported dreaming in black and white more frequently. Recent studies have shown that this is likely the results of our early childhood exposure to television. People under the age of 25 have reported almost never dreaming in black and white, while nearly a quarter of the age group from 55 and up reported that they occasionally dream in black and white. The television hypothesis is supported by studies from the 40s. In these studies three quarters of Americans from all age groups reported that they rarely ever dreamed in color. This suggests that the proliferation of color television has led to more dreaming in color and less people dreaming in black and white. Maybe this means our kids will all be dreaming in imax 3D! In addition to this, some psychologists have suggested that vivid colors in dreams are associated with strong emotions. Thus somebody who dreams in black and white main lack such intense emotions.

My topic concerned dreams of empty rooms which is more of a combination of two dream topics being rooms, and emptiness. Freud's theory simply touched upon "structures" within dreams being buildings, housing, etc. to be symbols of innocent and repressed sexual urges but nothing more. Interpretations outside of this theory suggested individual rooms of the house to have different meanings and aspects of the subconscious. Freud's theories of emptiness were much more general in suggesting doubt, but lacked greater definition as it was believed the meaning varies greatly from person to person.

My dream topic was about why we dream things having to do with the media. When we dream about the media, it usually has something to do with getting the attention of others. It may have something to do with a self-absoarbment issue or feeling that your privacy is being invaded.

Dreaming visions of a digital world or "video games" reflects a controlling personality or, conversely, a feeling of lacking control over an environment (such as if you dream your life were a video game), depending on the situation. For the most part, it reflects a want to escape the present reality, or just to avoid a pressing issue in your awake life. As video games did not exist in Freud's time, Freud did not say anything on the matter. However, film and cinema did exist, and it is noted that film and dreaming (were) the closest mediums between waking and sleeping (I would propose that some video games, due to the addition of user input, surpass film in this regard). Freud noted that "everything that can be an object of our internal perception is virtual, like an image produced in a telescope by the passage of light-rays," so the exact appearance of the vision might differ- realism vs. abstract vs. "digital".

My dream topic was about why we hide in our dreams. When someone dreams about hiding, it means that they are trying to safeguard a secret or postponing a confrontation. If you dream of someone else hiding it means that you need an urgent need for security and protection. If you are hiding from authorities in your dreams it indicates you are feeling guilty and shameful.

My dream is (I think) about broken or not working machinery. Usually in dreams around this subject, common technologies like computers, phones, and televisions are not working. This has been interpreted to mean that the dreamer may be losing touch with reality, or at least fearing he is, and perhaps that the dreamer feels part of their body is not functioning properly. On a further stretch, it may mean that the dreamer is feeling anxious about not making connections with people in their awake lives.
